Back in the old days, people in offices worked standing, nowadays we sit. A development for the better, you might think. But your body is not made to sit a whole day. The blood circulation in your legs decreases, pressure on your back is increased. If you can choose, standing is better for you.

The basic demands on a good sit/stand table is that there is a large height adjustment span.

A good table should also provide plenty of leg space even when you are seated. There must be enough space for your legs and you should be able to bring your chair up close to the table.
